'Chestnut'

Dave
is building a Western red cedar stripped 'Chestnut' canoe
which will be sheathed in light weight glass fibre for enhanced
durability. It was drawn by Ted Moores of Bear Mountain Boats and
is 15' in length and is named Bob's Special, a 'Chestnut' classic,
the original design having come from the 1950 Chestnut Canoe Co.
catalogue. It's a lightweight boat with plenty of room for gear,
