Jon Ashfield

Jon Ashfield

Motivated and responsible, Jon worked for the Police for thirty years, prior to that he worked as a builder. Now retired  Jon joined the Academy as a way of polishing up his skillset for the start of his new business

Joseph Etherington

Joseph Etherington

Joseph is a graduate of the University of the West of England, where he studied Art and Visual Culture. Before joining the Academy, he worked at the Southampton Wood Recycling Project. In his spare time, Joseph continues to develop his art and does small woodworking projects at home.

Max Hughes

Max Hughes

Max joined the Academy as a way of developing his woodworking skills, he hopes to pursue a career as a stock maker. A keen shooter, he worked at a local shooting school in Purbeck, where he was responsible for general maintenance of the shooting grounds. He is a trained and certified shooting competition referee and recently competed in the 2017 FITASC World Championship in Hungary.

Terry Hand

Terry lives locally,  he is building a coffee table and a real tennis racket for his final project pieces.
